Benefits and opportunities for the shortlisted teams:

 

1.    Round 2 | 20 shortlisted teams: 

·         Gain connections to expand the business to Hong Kong market. 

·         Undergo evaluation conducted by Hong Kong’s largest innovation and technology ecosystem, the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), with the potential to receive an offer to HKSTP’s Ideation Programme, which includes up to HK$100,000 in seed funding. 

 

2.    Final Round | 5 finalists from International Student Track will advance: 

·         2 members of each team will be provided with flight and accommodation to participate in the Final Round Competition on the HKUST campus in Hong Kong – tentatively from 11 to 14 October, 2026.

·         Total cash prize of HK$205,000 for international student teams

·         Interactive mixer with local teams and immersive tours at Hong Kong Innovation Hubs. 

·         Gain exposure to the international innovation and technology market. 

Application and Eligibility:

 

• The International Student Track is open to all universities worldwide. Each team must include at least one full-time student (undergraduate or postgraduate) from an international university who graduates no earlier than May 2026; post-docs are not included.

• To participate, submit a 10-page pitch deck here by 14 July, 2026, HKT 23:59. Please refer to the Application and Eligibility and Submission Rules for more.

• Shortlisted teams for the final round should expect to travel to Hong Kong from October 12 to 13, 2026 for a presentation in person.
